David DeLuca is a Boston based singer / musician / songwriter.
He is a veteran of the local scene. He performs regularly as a solo artist, sideman, and a member of multiple bands.
David first found local success with his band "Highway Ghosts". The Boston Globe said, "Highway Ghosts masterfully blend roots-rocking guitars, ragged-but-right vocals set to rustic melodies, and other good stuff that never goes out of style when it's done right."
In recent years, David formed "Double D and the Haymakers" with Ward Hayden (from the band "Girls Guns and Glory"). The band played regularly at Boston area clubs, private parties, and local showcases.
David has also been recruited as a guitarist-for-hire by many local artists. The sideman role culminated in a performance with Ashley Jordan, in front of 40,000 people at the Hatch Shell in Boston. The duo were the opening act at the MixFest concert.
Today, David alternates his time between solo shows and his two primary bands: "The Daybreakers" and "Double D and the Bluesmakers". He continues to be a mainstay in the Boston music scene.
